swings 100mph on average. I've tried both 915 D3, and 815 Double Black Diamond. 915D3 was very loud, my scratch golfer friend also tried it both with me, 815 DBD had better sound (to us), Further distance, and softer feel off the face. Of course spin was less as well. 815DBD however looks smaller (both 460cc but 815DBD has deeper profile), so if you like louder sound and prefer larger looking head should definitely go for the 915, else 815 DBD rocks. My friend's swing speed is 110mph+ on average, and mine is around 105mph on average.

| thanks bro reallys..
Understand that 915D3 is 440cc whereas DBD is 460 cc but due to deep face looks smaller...
was looking more on 915D2 and the normal alpha 815.. how about in the forgiveness department, any comments?

| My bad! Titleist police is out! hehehe, D3 still looks bigger than the 460cc DBD...
Not sure about the D2 vs 815 standard sorry

| Tried both on the course and went with 815 because of the forgiveness and distance.
915 D3 was very nice at setup and loved the feel but my swing was just not good enough to maximise it and was constantly 10+ metres behind the 815......
The 815 has an interesting variable gravity core in the head where you can choose between maximum forgiveness with higher spin or less forgiving face with much lower spin. Playing with the lower spin gave me a further 10+m ....:-)
The 815 was performing nicely with the stock Speeder shaft but i found the ball flight a bit too high to my liking and am extremely happy now that it is paired with the Ahina.
Hope this info is helpful to you.
Good Luck. | |

| Mine's the non DBD.
I find it workable enough for the slight fades and baby draws when needed. IMHO, the key to a good driver is finding the correct shaft to suit it.....Good luck with your search.
