no for too long i guess . . . . i quote :

The late LKY has an aura that his son, PM LHL cannot emulate or does not possess ... Just look at the second pic above showing him standing majestically besides those ang mos ... He certainly does not look any less superior ...

His transformative role and leadership in making Singapore the innovation capital that we all know today is immeasurable. Mr Lee was a legendary public figure of Singapore no one could ever replace ... He is the icon of Singapore!

He is a great leader who earn respect and not a big boss who ask for respect.

Tough times need tough guy to lead with the best decision made there and then; only going through the tough times then will you understands.

I may not fully agree with some policy like CPF withdrawn, COE, etc with the current govt but the ruling party under him have done a lot for the country since 1965.

Details of their success is not required as we can see it around Singapore and where we are now.

LKY and the pioneer ministers are a league of their own and above all.

Mr Lee Kuan Yew was one of the greatest man the world has ever seen.
Every Singaporeans should be grateful of this incredible legacy created by this great man who passionately spend almost his entire life for this country.
He made me so proud to be a citizen of Singapore!

A remarkable gentleman who sacrificed his time and effort for the greater good of a nation ~ his vision transformed what used to be a fishing village into a metropolis which we proudly call home....... His journey despite being thwart with challenges & obstacles was overcame with much tenacity ~ not a word of complain he soldiered on......

You have contributed your fair share in building this country over and above what is expected of any ordinary human being.......

I always believe that when there is nothing good to say, I better not say anything. I had lost relatives to other countries during our country's infancy.
However, after reflecting amongst the hulaballoo of events, I cant deny the immense work that he has done.
Everyone has their opinions, but the fact is what we see today around us.
I will honour the good things that you have made for this country.

The passing of a great man indeed. Singapore have benefited immensely from his selfless and untiring effort to bring it from 3rd to 1st world. And, oh yes, he has a 9 holes course in his backyard Istana for improving his game, too. Very Happy
