| Difficult to tell just from the label as some are for JDM. Some distributors paste their own labels also. | |

| You could consider writing to the company (i.e. Mizuno) for their opinion. | |

Owner advertised to sell at $280. but after bargaining, he is willing to lower to slightly above $100+ tats why I'm a little sceptical could it be fake?

Be careful before you part your money ... I came across many strange ads in Golfsite.sg as it is not a control and manage portal ...

| finishing of the club looks dubious 1. "New" sticker on club head 2. Shaft flex sticker on club head 3. Club spec on shaft. if i recall, its laser printed, shouldnt smudge so evenly like in the pic
then again, my day job is not sherlock holmes..haha.. call and get with mizuno direct is best

| Usually (though not all the time), fakes are of the more "premium" brands or mainstream models. Especially Titleist, Scotty Cameron, Vokeys. Maybe TMs and Callaways (popular models).
For less mainstream ones (and I would place this mizuno driver in this category), counterfeiters are not so interested because of low sales volumes, low margins.
If that's a weight screw, see if it can be removed. Usually for fakes, the screws are false - just painted on to make it look like a screw.
Just a thought... | |

Just a thought... I've seen fake Mizzies around. Certainly a brand which has knock offs. I saw a set of Mizzy irons before at a club fitter which was brought in by the owner to change shafts , and he didnt realised it was fake!

I did some home work and realise that this driver is not cheap afterall. Even a used one cost USD300++. how is it possible this seller is willing to drop price to $100++ for a brand new driver. hhhmmm...

I think the buyer has an issue, bargain so hard after given then he think it is too low to be real.... You are spot on:) I got the club as prize locally - since it costs 0 for me I was willing to let go at low price. The club is sold now to another one. But I still have other stuff selling here and in Gumtree too. Just to make a point that I don't sell fake - I also don't have fake stuff to sell. I am a serious golfer so I have integrity:). I advise buyers to take a physic look at the stuff rather than immersing in doubt. Good opportunity is hard to come by:)
