M1 Reservation is worthless

Why did they even bother to ask for reservation.

What rubbish! My friend did not even reserve, walked in and got his, just that the waiting time was rather long.

I don't think SingTel was any better. IIRC, they also had issues when the iPhone was first launched.

Why do they even bother asking for reservation and not honoured it for the consumers who gave their commitment to reserve even before the pricing schemes was released. Because of this, i am tempted to now switch telco.

bro, u are not alone. My wife also kana this email from them. We already intend to change Telco liao, since they dun even value their loyal Unlimited Plan customer for so many years... even forfeit the $500 voucher if taking up the iphone unlimited plan... Wat rubbish...

I'm their customer since M1 starts operation. And what do they give me? Their CS standard had dropped tremendously over the past few years.

This kind of small request u also cannot agree. How long have u been with M1? longer than me? U check your records. Did I ever own or delay my mthly subscription to M1? If u cant decide I wan to speak to your CS manager NOW!!"

It seems that anyone can just walk into M1 and get an iphone at zero dollars. There's no additional privilege for loyal customer at all...ie 20% off, 25% off subscription etc... It seems that they have totally forgotten their existing customers all together liao, becos of this bloody iphone???....

On another hand, if u are a Mio Home user (Mio TV + Internet + house phone), when switch to Singtel, can get additional 15% off the subscription of the iphone package that u sign up man... That works out to be cheaper than M1's deal... It really seems no point staying with M1 anymore liao...

I'm not gg to renew contract with them anymore! They did send me $100 voucher to waive off the penalty charge. I was thinking to myself: M1 damm cheapskated! send me this voucher. I can easily called the CS to ask for waiver (which they normally does after some strong words). After 10yrs of loyalty, they only send me this voucher for the 1st time! That means I only worth this much to M1. Might as well switch to other telcos better.

Yeap, i know you have black and white and some others already wrote to the ST forum. But its a rule in this forum mah. Since we are not allowed to bad mouth any golf shops or golf pros, i think the same deal applies to other companies. And we are talking about big companies here, hence i think we should not state company names......

thanks bro for making sure that the rules in this forum are in place, it is a thankless job, and luckily u are willing to help out...

this is quite serious matter, if we write bad things or badmouth those listed big companies, just think about the effect on the share price? i think better to remove this thread or at least edit it to remove the names of the affected parties.

haha .. happens to me as well... reserve like no reserve at all.. i jumping ship to Starhub from M1...

M1 is very bad with customer service and it's not just recently but since 1 or 2 years ago.. I've been with them for more thn 7 years in the past and later changed to Singtel.. Very happy with Singtel up till now thou..

Oddly enough, I actually enjoyed my time with M1. I was a M1 customer for a few years but moved to SingTel because they had a better package for the E61 phone (some years back). I never had any issue with M1 and always found their customer service to be pretty decent.
