Sluggish performance due to snow

Dear all,

Do you think that this website is sluggish because of the snow? I felt that the performance of the site has degraded since the inclusion of the snow but I'm not sure if it's just me.

Please advise.

a bit sluggish when surfing on my phone

It's not too bad for me. Not much of a diff, really, but I'm on FF3 on a MBP.

very sluggish after a while if you leave many GR windows opened whilst multi-tasking with other apps...

SD, why are you having multiple GR windows open? I thought I was hardcore... but you... wow

TS, my typical morning..
1. click "view posts since last visit"
2. open each unread thread in a new tab
3. read and close tabs.

unfortunately, I cant always complete item 3 peacefully without being distracted.
therefore, I would like to suggest an improvement to GR, by adding a guide on "how to remain hidden and concealed in your workplace, to surf GR." Perhaps TS can be the author?

Definitely slower and more CPU Intensive, especially on Google Chrome, which i'm using..

it gets worst if u leave it unattended, there's a memory leak in the animation, i checked task manager, firefox was at 200,000kb of memory usage when first loaded, left it unattended for 5hrs, it shot up to 2mb.

Dunno about you guys, but I find the snow very irritating!

Ahh... that one takes years of training, a lot of patience and a privacy filter on your screen

On topic, I support the removal of the snow if it's causing problems. That said, it doesn't mean that GR is w/o Christmas

just thought that some snow is good to create some mood...
