| I will go for the Titleist.. Heh.. Wonder if can fit the 4.9kg cart bag..
But 1 thing to look out for is - must hv handle to pull along - if not must allow the handle of the bag to be held.
Saw at $79 Wilson one and think there is neither of both

| In my opinion, no point buying such a expensive travel glove as the airline porter will never take care of your beautiful and stylo mylo bag ... In no time you will see scratches and damages here and there on your US$200 +++ bag ... If I were you, I would settle for something like this ... Cheap (US$80) and functionable ... Tour Trek GTS 2 Or this one if you have more budget, Tour Trek GTS 4 (US$149) - | |

| I travel every other month for golf, and have learned the lessons of buying costly travel bags which generally will show some tear and wear within 5 or 6 trips, mostly due to inconsiderate airport handling.
So I only use a cheap and good bag. At $49, you can get a full length, heavily padded Lynx travel bag, with lifting as well as pulling handles, shoulder strap, castors (rollers), lockable zips, and 2 generous pockets for your golf laundry and shoes.
You can get it from Golf Direct. Utility-wise, it is as good as the Titleist/TM bags shown above, but at much lower cost.

Where to get this Tour Trek?
Many thanks in advance. I don't think it is available in Sg ... You can buy it from Golfsmith or eBay and have Vpost to ship it back for a much lower cost. However, the lead time should be around 10 days. (Additional 5 days versus getting Fedex to ship it directly to Sg). From ebay, someone is selling a brand new Tour Trek at only $106 - http://www.ebay.com/itm/Masters-Tour-Trek-GTS-3-Golf-Flight-Cover-Travel-Bag-/390881095915?pt=UK_Sporting_Goods_Golf_Bags&hash=item5b025430eb Actually Transview's Perry Gear Golf travel cover is almost similar in design to the Tour Trek ... It is only S$45 ... If I were you, I would buy the one from Transview ...

| I personally own the taylormade one, and have used it on several occasions, and have lent to friends for their trips as well. When i bought it, i was also considering between the taylormade and the titleist as well, simply because my friend uses and recommend that titleist, and the taylormade was on sale. Titleist was about $180 at ubi golf direct taylormade was $150 at golf house on discount Since taylormade was cheaper, i decided on it, also because titleist was out of stock at that moment and i couldnt wait. the taylormade material is very good. So far no tear or any other problem. Zipper quality are also very good. The base of the bag is very big, and after putting in a stand bag, i still had space to a shoe bag and a boston bag inside the main compartment. So for golf trips, everything golf related goes into this bag, leaving my luggage space for other things. This is probably the best for the clubs as well so you keep the stand bag snug to make sure it doesnt move around within the bag. The taylormade also has club head protector that wrap around the top of your stand bag, which i thought is quite important. I guess you could stuff towers or clothes etc to protect the clubheads, but i was happy to let the bag do the job for me. My only complain about the taylormade one was that the plastic clasp in the front are not hardy at all. First flight the first one broke, return flight second one broke. Had to black tape them back together. For $150 i thought it was a pretty decent price for what it is. The other brands like ogio were selling for 200-300+ at golf house, so i thought for $150 this was a steal... if i could choose again, i might spend 20bucks more for the titliest just because the size and shape is more steamlined, and doesnt have too many loose parts that could break or fall apart. | |
