Hey guys.
Where locally can we find club gloves travel bags?
Would like to see for real the size and quality.
Any of you guys using? There are many good reviews about their bags.
Thanks.

Taka has clubglove

i'm using 1 for myself and i think the quality is really good and feels indestructible. Used it on taiwan, australia and batam. So far so good, clubs nicely cushioned and survived all trips so far. Just remember to use a stiff arm along with it.

I considered this at one as well, only downside is it's almost twice the cost of an Ogio Straightjacket and heavier at 8 pounds

My holy grail for a travel bag is that it's decently padded to protect the clubheads, indestructible and especially lightweight, cos my golf plus travel bag always overweight on the flight back.

Yet to find one like that.

Thanks for the comments. You guys referring to the last bag or burst proof? How much is it selling for locally?

Last Bag is for pro sized bags, which is also burst proof.

Burst proof is smaller and cheaper, fits stand and cart bags.

As for the price, Google plus a phone call or email should get you the numbers you want.

Pls chk with Transview, they used to carry the Last bag. If not try OCC Ping fitting shop. They should have. The smaller one is very tight if u carry 14 clubs or mid size cart bag. I bought mine online, have to buy another smaller On Off bag to fit nicely.

Cannot go wrong with Ogio Straightjacket. Recommended by birdman some 4 yrs ago, still using it to this day. About 30 trips to the airport so far.

if u do travel often....

rather than invest in a travel bag... i would have gotten myself those adjustable drivers n woods n enough hybrids

every time i travel, i will take the heads out n put in my carryon bag... once at the golf course, i screw them back in, take all that anxiety n worry out of the equation

in my travelling set... i got myself the titleist 910 driver, 3w and 2x hybrids.... all adjustable heads

i just use a perry gear travelling bag i bought from GD... less than $50

When we check in our golf travel bag for, does it take up your 30kg baggage allowance?

Does different airlines have different policy on weight allowance for golf travel bag?

Golf bags do take up a lot of weight and it usually exceeds. You can save some weight by putting golf balls in your hand carry bag.

My fav method is to 'lean' or perch one end of the golf bag onto the edges of the weighing counter. You'd be surprised how much weight it shaves off.

Mercied, here's the link: Club glove distributor
Like Cnng121 said, club glove is very fitting, and the trade off with a heavier travel bag is that your golf bag has to be lighter and flimsier to compensate. Flimsier golf bag might mean less protection and  the golf bag falling over when caddies try to stand the bag upright without opening up the stand legs out on the course. Golf bag falling over equals cut bag and iron covers as well as dinged clubs.

JurongTiger, glad to see you're Ogio Straightjacket still going strong.

Kyleann, standing up the golf bag and leaning against the counter I haven't tried, just how much did you shave off? On the way back from the US, mine was so overweight, I had to resort to using one foot to prop up one end of my golf bag while it was laying flat on the weighing scale.

Found out that transview do carry Club Glove travel bags.
Wow you guys are amazing, now I know what to do when checking in.
I am using a C130, not sure if it can fit the burst proof. If it does, weight might be an issue too. Maybe use my Mizuno AeroLite bag?

Hi birdman, I usually let the golf bag lie 'almost flat', not standing up, with one corner at least propped against the edge (it's less obvious, especially if you've managed to engage in a conversation with the counter lady). Usually shaves of 25% off weight, I think (never had to measure nor pay extra before).

Flying out to new jersey for work tomorrow midnight.. Found out that there is a Dick Sporting Goods store about 4 miles (good thing I have a rental car) and Golfsmith about 20 miles from where I am staying ... Will jump into these shops and look for either a travel bag or hybrid bag (double up as travel and course bag).. Heard that there are moe options in US and more price-friendly... Hope to bring one back... afro

can order from rockbottomgolf and deliver to hotel. I find their prices most competitive. But limited selection sometimes, depends on luck.

Good to hear. Last bag or burst proof II? What golf bag did you use with the club glove?

great travel bags!
I've been using the burst proof 2 for many a flights now (20+) and still going strong. I also have the extra 5 year no questions asked warranty package which is a peace of mind.

I have an Ogio cart bag with 14 separate compartments and is a tight but good fit.
