Hi guys,

Going for a day trip to Batam for work by harbourfront.

What is the best option for me to park my car for the day; value for money.

Think the car park next to Sean Inn Hawker Centre does not have coupon parking leow.

Thanks,

Fatboy

I usually just park at Harbourfront, otherwise you can try parking at those HDB car parks along Telok Blangah Road or behind this Frangrance Hotel… If you are fortunate to be a guest of the Hotel, you may park for free  Smile

But be prepared for adverse weather…

cheers

If you live within walking distance of MRT stations, best option is to go by MRT. We do that every time we go through Harbourfront ferry terminal. From MRT exit to ferry departure hall, it's only a par 5 distance.

A day trip parking at Harbour front car park will strip you off $18, not to mention the hassles of driving. MRT costs less than $2 return (in my case), convenient and faster.

Hi guys,

Thanks for the advice.

I will drive and park at the habourfront car park as I need to take things with me for the trip and also the taxi fare to/fro will be similar to the parking charges.

Previously, it was 4 x 1 hr coupons when I park at the open car park next to the Seah Inn Hawker Centre but now it is per hour leow.

Wish it was for a gold game trip to Batam but unforuntately, it is not.  pale

If you don't leave very far from Harbourfront, take a cab is ideal.

Agree with turbo.
Parking from 7am-7am next day is about $15, $1.20 per hour, $2+ 6pm-7am.

Waiting for taxi at harborfront seems not a problem..
But think for convenience, I will drive, but if I can claim from
Company with taxi' receipt, I will take the Taxi
Very Happy
