Steel Shaft for Driver or Fairway Woods, anyone?

Must be super heavy loh.

Doubt can even swing properly let alone drive same distance.

Ram used to have it ... it was actually quite nice to hit.

I experimented with a project like that and now that club is sort of my go to club in my bag...

I put a DG X100 Steel Wood shaft on my Nike VRS Covert 3 wood but I played it to 0.5" longer than the stock shaft.

Range measurement showed that I did not lose any distance (210 - 230 yd range), measured with the Swing Caddie Launch Monitor (so may not be as accurate as Trackman)...

But it sure is heavy to swing... Never really measured the SW, maybe I will pay Henry a visit. FYI, the club is an Asian spec club so it has adjustable loft. I still am able to slot in the stock graphite shaft if I wish to...
