Going for a short holiday

Hi guys / gals ...

Was planning to go short trip with missy in malaysia ... (coz spend too much time golfing liao... )

Juz called cameron & genting... But both hotels fully booked liao...

Any other recommendation for malaysia trip (4 ~ 5 days) ?

How about Malacca or Penang? Both great places to see sights, eat great food and relax

both a bit rush for 5D trip , rite?

Haiz.. juz called equatorial hotel... fully booked liao...

Malacca has less hotels, IMHO.

Penang has more hotels, both in the city as well as by the beach.

Try Holiday Inn in Malacca.... just opposite the Malaysia Eye Flyer Wheel....new hotel, quite nice, got in-house spa...

can play golf in Ayer Keroh when you are in Malacca....

Don't forget ur golf bag.

ft, if its going to be a 5 day trip, make it a road trip from malacca to KL, there's not many things to do in malacca (unless u are a historical tourist), 1-2 days in malacca is good enough, then drive to KL, there will be more things in KL (dun need me to tell u)

dun think u will be playing golf if going with the mrs..... if not there are many courses to choose, from malacca to KL

or u can go malacca for 1-2 days, then fly to penang, can veg out at the many beach hotels there, there is also gurney drive for u to taste the local delight, penang got a new mega mall (cant remember name but its by the bay), also there is the walk up the famous temple, with shops lined up along the way for u to spend your $$$.....

personally, i like penang, away from the city crowd, its laid back but still has some city "feel" to it....

Slinger.. lai leh.. we can arrange a next outing for SCB in Malaysia...

kns, i have 2 babies, how to have outings.....

but maybe next Q, we can do the malacca n KL road trip....

day 1: malacca tiara (lake/woodland)
day 2: KLGCC (west)
day 3: malacca tiara (meadow/woodland)

worst nett score, buy dinner/durian in geylang......

yah lah.. thats what i meant.. road trip... we were actually talking about it already.

yea .. seems like golfing in m'sia is cheapest.. but software a bit lacking.. unless BYO
