Try downloading the app "云图tv". Should be able to watch on the chinese channels.

Yup, it work all the time. Cable connection would be better instead of wireless. I connect it to my TV via HDMI cable. It works well to date...

Those streaming boxes they sell at sim lim works fine too. Am currently using the Xiaomi box which I bought at around $100 to connect to my TV. Basically can watch all the China channels. But your commentary will be in Chinese/Cantonese if you don't mind.
