| Bintan and Batam is quite different. Batam is more no-frills, manage your expectations when you are there. I take my beginner golfer frens to Batam as it is less 'wasteful' (for lack of a better word). Afterall, Bintan is a resort island. Batam is island for factories and some "stuffs" that retired old men goes for... Bintan a bit more pricey, Ria Bintan and Bintan Lagoon (Ocean & Woodlands courses) are high quality, scenic courses. Avoid Laguna Bintan course if I were you, it is more 'Batamesque'. If you are planning to go Bintan, why go for 'Batamesque' course? If anyone is planning to go Bintan Lagoon, do not take up their 2D 1N package. Go a la carte, book ferry yourself, choose the rooms you want and pay guest rate to play. You will save bout $150 per 2 players... I know, because I did! | |

So bus transfer wld be taken care of by the resort villa ppl, games OTO book online. Correct? A bti excited cos its been some time since I played in nice humid sunny weather!!! | |

| Sunny, will it be Bintan Lagoon or Ria Bintan ? Think HSBC Plat has tie up with RIa Bintan and you can get complimentary green fee, conditions apply though.... Yeah, i look forward to either one | |
