| Hi all,
I'm a member of Poresia GC and am getting tired of the weekly jams at immigration. So, thinking of joining NSRCC now and am wondering whether the weekend slots are easy to book. Bros here care to share your experience?

| If afternoons, slots are easier to get esp kranji
Weekend mornings changi very competitive. Need a syndicate of golfers to secure bookings. With weekend events like charity games, die lo.

| I have observed Sundays are less crowded than before.. Like now you can still get slots for tomorrow.. Next weekends are still available as well, just a matter of timing.. I wonder whether its because less people are playing golf or more nsrcc members are giving up their membership… | |

| I heard my friend who is a weekday member say that many gave up their memberships after the earlier price hike.
Like that Sat AM difficult to get flight, bit tough to make decision whether to sign up or not.

| [quote="Quest"]I heard my friend who is a weekday member say that many gave up their memberships after the earlier price hike.
Heard that too and I think it is true. I am one of them that did not renew my membership when it expired.
Many members asked NSRCC to reconsider but they did not give a hoot.
Now that they are going to lose some land (removal of Air Force 9holes and the Par3), they are having a promo. I think many peeps are considering but some may have already been pissed off.

Bros here care to share your experience? Im just wondering if the malaysia will impose the 50rm for each car to go to JB soon. If thats going to happen, will it not help the traffic? Guess those who go there to do weekly shopping and petrol pumping may stop or less freq. Just a tot, than maybe playing JB will be better. Cheers

| Played almost every Sunday morning at Kranji. No problem booking if you log in on time on Friday evening where the online booking open for following week slots. If can't get a full flight, just queue to join flight. Never been an issue except when they have competition or tournament, then the slots available become less. Otherwise, I think it ok. | |

| i can understand how many members feel when nsrcc increase their green fee and subscription fees... cos i, too, did contemplate about switching clubs...
however, they have since decrease their green fee and increase the term membership to the max of 3 years... i doubt i will switch clubs
of cos, ppl will say all this measure comes after the return of the airforce course and the par 3 executive... well, i like to take a more postive approach
there's not many clubs around that has the kind of maintenance that can rival nsrcc, the fairways are green and pretty and i would think the greens are only below the premier local clubs... i have played in some of the mid-tier clubs, the conditions of the course is defintely below nsrcc
as the saying goes "u get what u pay more", nothing but truth when u golf in nsrcc
not trying to promote the club but i'm a straight shooter, tell it as it is....

| Of course there are also good points about NSRCC eg...plenty of kakis, can join flight, can show face in office same day and some....If not why so many GRians are members.
It is all relative and also depends on individual considerations. That is why this promo is worth considering. In that sense I am not totally "pissed off" with them yet, haha.......Still need a place to golf man!

not trying to promote the club but i'm a straight shooter, tell it as it is.... Absolutely agree with my golf guru.... I think the fairways conditions are great and greens are any time better than MBGC on many days.. On top of that you get swimming pool, bowling etc facilities... Guess it's as I always believe in.. Play where your kakis are...

| Just to paint a fair picture, there are some days we don't get changi flights and played k rani consecutively for a couple of weeks
Or some Saturdays we have less than ideal time slots But nevertheless as long as the entire group all chip in and book, we'll likely get a decent time slot for sat mornings
Strength in numbers | |
