| Hi all, need advised is the CObra Amp Cell Pro iron good as currently looking for a iron set due to loading off my Mizuno MP63. My worry is the DG S300 as I find it heavy.
Any comment or other recommendation is greatly appreciated, thanks.

| I have a set of Amp Cell Pro on KBS C taper Lite, if you are interested.
My comments on it is that for the shorter irons, I experienced a gain in distance of 10m. But for the longer irons (4i - 6i), I experienced a drop of about 10m.

Any comment or other recommendation is greatly appreciated, thanks. Hi bro bumper bee , some personal review on this sets of iron . Had been using for a year n getting use to the heavier shaft . 1. DS s300 is consider heavy thus initial I had lost distance for all the iron ( about 10 to 15 m) . As for now , I had get use to the heavier shaft , the distance lost is quite little and accurate especially u hit the sweet spot ( butter feel wor ... ) . 2. Also this is a combo set "mb n cb" thus this set will really help u improve ur golf swing . I think online review mention this sets is more suitable for better player but I would say it a gd sets to invest regardless ur handicapped . Any way , if u like to try the set, just PM me . We can arrange a range session at MBGC . P/S : I not selling this set hor .

Hi enwee, I have owned S3 Pro before but sold n got Mizuno. Prefer this flow set and had demo the 7 iron and distance longer than my previous MP63 by a club length. Feel good but was scare I cannot handle the shaft weight when playing 18 holes.

Hi Bro mleo, yes I pull the trigger to buy a new set at 699 (3~PW) @ Isetan. Quite good price for a combo set like this, check FESC 2nd hand selling almost same price. Good soft feel & solid at impact, started to like the shaft of its weight as its more stable than my previous NSPro950S shaft. No regret. Thanks for all the Bro here giving there comment and review.

Really, that is a very good price. But no regret as compare to other brand iron in this catergory its still value for money, anyway has started to play the iron and love it. Thanks for the info, bro jwing.

| Dear bumperbees, I am currently using Cobra set. Be it whether, Driver (Amp Cell Pro), Fairway 3 Wood (Bio Cell+), Hybird 2 & 4, Iron (Amp Cell Pro), and wedges (52 / 58). All work well for me. I love it. Indeed, Shaft DG S300 is rather heavy. Therefore I changed it to Project X 95. As like jwing said, GD is selling at that very reasonable price. Hope you have a great game. Enjoy and have fun. Happy Golfing..... Swee ah.........!!!!! | |

I love my Amp Cell Pro driver too, had it for few months arid. Also my cobra hybrid, the model with yellow grip. - Golfman wrote:

If you like heavier head feel in your irons, consider trying out the True Temper DG Pro shafts. After running them in, I am actually getting increase distance compared to steelfibers i80 which I own previously. Lighter than usual DG shaft and flighted! Great feel too. http://www.truetemper.com/products/dg-pro/ Happy experimenting!
