Tawau Golf Trip

End Apr.14 together with a group of golfers to Tawau.
Airasia direct flight from JB to Tawau, with selected seat and one chicken rice (Jb to Tawau, return nothing)(Flight 10:45 arriving Tawau 13:30, returned 14:25 ~ 16:45).
Taken Shansui promotion package: 2 games at shansui +2night stayed at chalet+2 breakfast + 2 lunch + one game at Hotspring Golf Resort+ land transfer RM980/pax.

Course condition:
1) Shansui: Nice golf course but condition no as good as expected, certain holes fairway turf condition NG, turned brown colour some friend told us due to bacterial. green very tricky but turf condition still not satifaction not compact and putting time you can see the ball slightly jumping.
2) Hotspring: Very nice course, both fairways and greens are in super good condition, only one hole due to land slide. This is jungle course, once your ball not straight go in jungle then finished. You can see the giant tree (balak) play in the course, 1 par 3 hole uphill 200m, the other par 3 down hill 217m.

Shansui Golf Director Mr.Henry is very nice man, the first day we cannot finished the game due to around 6:15pm already dark, the second day after we played Hotspring, we back to Shansui to play another 9 holes and Mr.Henry allowed us to play 5 balls in one flight. Our group organizer is very close to him, may be Mr.Henry giving us good service.

I recommend Hotspring if you never play before, one of the fine course in Malaysia.

Tawau : 斗湖.
Last year Philippine intruders enter Malaysia as well as the hijack China & Taiwan lady (Semporna & Lahad Datu) is very close to Tawau.
Airasia having direct flight from JB to Tawau since April 2014. Our ticket was RM444/two ways.

Strongly recommend Hotspring Golf Course (Tawau Golf Club) very nice.

our friend bought a lot sea cucumber and frozen 老鼠班, sea cucumber RM350/kg.
