| Am looking for a new set of wedges as I'm thinking of reorganizing my bag. Currently using a (long term loan) Cleveland CG15 56deg from my father in law, and got the MackDaddy2 60deg recently. I also have AP from my TM Burner 2.0 set. However, changing irons to the Ping i25s (6-PW) so am thinking to return the borrowed Cleveland and get a new set.
I do really like the CG15, very accurate and I get really good feel and control using it. The MD2 I'm not as comfortable as I don't get the same feel as the CG15 which I'm used to and find that I need to adjust my swing style to hit it.
Am looking for a 52, 56 and 60 wedge and am considering the Cleveland 588, Vokeys or going back to the Pings. Leaning more to the Cleveland though. I know I can try out the Pings at Bt Batok but is there anywhere I can try the Vokeys and Cleveland? Does the 588 handle similarly to the CG15? Thanks!

| I both have 56 degree Vokey and a rusty CG15. I'm using the CG15 more than the Vokey. I'm not sure why, but for some reason I get more consistency out of the CG15. My Vokey is spending more time at home lately. By the looks of it, the 588 head shape is like the Vokey. Better try both to be really sure what will work best for you. Good luck | |

| I have used before....
TM TRV wedges, Volkeys SM4, old Tin Can, Nike Forge... so far most consistent for me is still the Ping Tour gorge.. at 52 SS and 58 TS.

Anywhere locally have it? Else will get it when I go to the US next month CG15's should be available online in the US. Not sure on brick and mortar shops though. Most golf-related items are cheaper in the US. You can even play with it first, then if its not to your liking, you can return it no questions asked.

| I have a set of CG16's (54, 58) and a no brand (diamond something) 62.
You should be able to get a good deal on CGXX's at shaw house (golf sale) and spend your time getting used to the club

| Far East SC has many wedges for sale. Greenfield or the shop with the ladyboss (dunno the name). Saw a few Epons, Muiras and the usual Vokeys, Clevelands, Callaways , etc.
Since you building from scratch, maybe can look at BFG wedges? Everyone seems to be having only good reviews!

The shop with the lady boss is Golf Simply which is located at FESC 2nd level (unit alongside Panwest) ... The lady boss, Evon always tell her customers, "If you pay by cash, you enjoy brother price ..." Both male boss, Edward & Evon are nice and honest business people ... Everything is negotiable ...

| Thanks guys. In the end I went with the Ping Gorge tour wedges (50 & 56). The Fourteen were not available when I was looking for them. | |
