after speaking to one of the co-owners ( a jap) who also happens to own a 19th hole at a golf club in singapore.

Within 10 minutes, The Manager at Starhill called me ......and below were the coversations...

Manager: " Good afternoon, Mr Anthony KIm"

AK wannabe: " Yes.. I am"

Mgr: " I just calling u to tell you that we find your ice box already" ( as usual broken english)

AK: " Is it?? Very Efficient la u all, i called your 5 star golf club on monday, i was told ' not to forget anything, if forget, maybe lost' and not only that. i was told to come personally to make report and sign the report lost form at your club!!!, if i were in sweden, u expect me to fly back??"

Mgr: " Sorry MR AK. I sincerely apologised!!"

AK wannabe " No need to apologise!!! That's the Malaysia BOleh way!!!" ( only a malaysian has the right to use this tag line, if u all singaporean use,, kena whack in malaysia, dun blame me.)

AK wannabe " So now.. u found the cooler box, when can i collect?"

Mgr: ' dun worry Mr AK, if you have an address in JB, we'll send to you"

AK.. " Ok.. U really do that?? I feel like a Tan SRI."


i gave him my address and ecpecting the cooler box to eta on friday.

Frankly if he knew you thought of him as a JAP (your words) he might not have been so accomodating.
