Can a high handicapper like 20 handle AP2, MX59 or even callaway x forged?

To handle the clubs, it's not by your hcp, it's your consistency in ball striking. If you can hit on sweet spot most of the time, any clubs will work for you. The rest will be preference in looks and feel.

If you are not that consistent, cavity back irons will be better as it has some allowance for mishit and ball still go relatively straight. All those you listed are in this category, you should be able to play with them.
