| The LPGA will be moving to Australia this week for the playing of the ISPS Handa Women's Australian Open.
Jessica Korda, winner of the Pure Silk Bahamas LPGA Classic, will be trying to open the 2014 season with back to back wins. The Korda family has a rich history of coming up big in this country as Jessica won this event in 2012, and her father, Petr Korda, won the Australian Open Tennis Championship in 1998.
This will be tournament #2 of 32 tournaments on the 2014 schedule.

| Respect to kerrie web.. I did catch the first two days on golf channel... Webb was barely in the top 10 and not really a fave to win the open. All the hype was on pettersen, choi and minjee li for the top spots.. Just like an well oiled machine, slowly but steadily, Webb climbed up the leaderboard.. Some my call it home ground adv but Reckon her experience got her there too.. Actually pretty happy for her.. One of the lady golf greats.. Watched the likes of her, Annika, grace park (yes, beautiful swing and a looker too) when I was honing my skills as well.. | |

| A pity Chella Choi couldnt find her birdie in the last few holes to tie Karrie Webb for sudden death playoffs.
She is unfortunately one of the few including Lee Minjee and Lydia Ko that faltered on the final day, despite a good showing the first 3 days. | |
