Going Bangkok & Hua Hin in mid Feb 2014, safe???

Curiously, with the current "ongoings" in Bangkok and the upcoming election in 2 Feb, do you think it is safe to go in mid Feb???

Planning for a 4-day-4-rounds of golf trip.

Or any other locations suggestion????

We already had our trip booked like wayyy in advance. We are infact heading down on the 3rd of feb, 1 day after the proposed elections date.

After some discussion, we are still gonna bite the bullet and go through by avoiding colours associated to any party.

The Thais are only targeting government buildings within certain parts of Bangkok city, unless you have booked a game in Lumpini Park...... As for Hua Hin, you're way out of the target areas ~ have fun. Also planning couple of games early / mid April

Go and enjoy, you are away from Bangkok and even in most parts of Bangkok it is okay. They are not targeting tourists and not even golfers happy golfing
