great video! his wrist cock is craaaaazy, he actually doesn't cock the wrist until he starts the down swing?
i've talked to a TM rep here in Vancouver and they were saying how his driver shaft is the length of a normal 3-wood (not sure how many inches), but he's using a 90+ gram shaft in it..... heavy!! a lot of power torque and speed in that swing.

Impressive game. Very calm and collected, unlike the the past Sergio where he was hot tempered. Guess he is growing up now. He was talking and joking with Henrik Stenson who was 2nd postion as they were strolling along the 18th final hole fairway... and they both show great sportmanship even though they were competing for the final spot. Congrats Sergio....!! And kudo to Henrik also for his sportmanship....! Great to see how golf shoulld be played even in competition....

i was at the event last week and we asked an observer who he thought will be a favourite. this was wednesday before the tournament started.
Ollie said Sergio and he said he has not seen a Sergio G like the one he saw this week. guess he would be the best person to ask for betting tips.

To change or correct such powerful swing takes him only weeks at his Tour pro level. For most of us, mths..with horrible games.. Nice work fm Garcia..

You are absolutely right that he cocked his wrist only on the down swing (something like JB Holms but Sergio lag is much more pronounced) ... He said he lay-off his club to the ideal slot during transition to downswing, and then he actually do a pull down motion thereafter ... This is what he learned from his dad ... Will try to search the video on his downswing thought ...
BTW, his driver and FW shafts are all more than 100 grams (Diamana White Board)
