| Hi fellow GRians,
It was reported that JB has changed their official weekend to Friday & Saturday.
Don't know if there is any effect on us playing there? So Sunday is weekday rate & Friday is weekend rate? Hmmm.....
Just for discussion.
Cheers! | |

| My fear is that Fri, Sat & Sun will all be weekend rate! Hopefully this will not be the case. | |

| Golfnut, very likely! All the while JB course charge weekend rate on SG public holiday. For sure they will take this opp to increase fees on Friday. U will only affected if u are Friday jb golfer. But don't worry, when biz drop, they will launch promotion again. | |

Sunday becomes weekday working day, so you can play Sunday and pay cheaper @ weekday rate!

| I personally think there will be no change/ rates will remain status quo... cos these golf clubs are mostly private entities not govt (where the change mostly affects). also majority of their customers are probably foreigners eg Sporeans Koreans Japanese Americans Europeans etc who hv their weekends on Sats/Suns and majority of this grp can only play on sats/suns anywayz... Doubt also they will take advantage of this change and simple charge higher on Fridays in addition to sats n suns (cos there still wouldn't be a demand on Fridays as for sats/suns) and in doing so they might even have fewer customers than currently anyways I might be wrong guess we just hv to wait n see | |

| My guess is JB courses will charge weekend rate on Fridays ... if they don't, most local Johor residents probably will not bother to become members anymore. | |

That is true. On the same note, if they charge weekday rate on Sunday, SG golfers may jam pack and play in JB on Sunday instead of paying weekend rate in Spore.

| Even if they charge weekend rate on friday, does not affect me one bit. I don't play on Friday and weekends. Friday is a big day for Muslims, attending Friday prayer and weekends are reserved for family outings and wedding invitations. | |
