| I have been working with a Trainer here in Singapore to enhance concentration....
I know of 3 Top Asian Tour Stars who use this method as well as many of my students, some even noticed better results at school not only in their golf game...
I was especially impressed that Phil Mickleson used it.
NeurOptimal® - Brief Overview
NeurOptimal® Neurofeedback is one of the world’s most advanced neurofeedback system.
Neurofeeback is a totally non-invasive and non-medication based way of training and strengthening the brain. It was first discovered in the 1960’s by Dr. Barry Sterman, Professor Emeritus, Neurobiology and Bio-Behavioral Psychiatry (retired), University of California Los Angeles, School of Medicine.
The current state of neurofeedback brain training is the result of decades of research and clinical studies.
NeurOptimal® itself has been around for about 14 years. It was developed by a husband and wife team, both of whom are clinical psychologists and who between them have about 50 years of experience in neurofeedback. The developers continue to be involved with NeurOptimal® and are passionate in wanting to bring its benefits to as many people as possible.
NeurOptimal® is used by thousands of “NeurOptimal® Trainers” around the world to help improve the lives of clients with cognitive impairment and emotional challenges, in addition to helping others achieve peak performance in studies, at work and in professional sports. Cognitive impairment includes conditions like attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), learning disabilities, memory, focus, concentration. Emotional challenges include depression, anxiety, addiction, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and autism.
Neurofeedback has been used by Olympic Gold Medalist Winners in Shooting, Skiing, Beach Volleyball, by Champion Golfers such as Phil Mickelson and Tennis Grand Slam Champion, Mary Pierce as well as various other Professional Sports Teams.
To-date and increasing every day, more than 3 million hours of brain training have been accumulated on the NeurOptimal® platform.
NeurOptimal® works by monitoring the electrical signals given out by the brain i.e. the brainwaves via sensors placed on the scalp. The process is totally non-invasive. Much like an ECG test, the sensors only pick up the brainwaves. Nothing is put back into the brain.
When NeurOptimal® detects that the brain is moving into a state of instability or turbulence, it alerts the brain by interrupting the music that is being played to the client. A shift into a state of instability might be indications of a shift into a state of greater depression, or less focus or higher stress as examples. Over time, with continued training, the brain learns to work around instabilities instead of just falling headlong into them.
As opposed to other neurofeedback systems, NeurOptimal® does not require a trainer to diagnose a client and create individual training protocols. Instead, it reads a client’s brainwaves in “real-time” and then automatically adjusts with the client, sending the feedback required to train the brain to realign itself for optimal performance.
For clients that want to have neurofeedback sessions in the comfort of their homes, the Personal Trainer System is available as a rental. It is designed for ease of use and allows individuals to run sessions on themselves or on other members of their families.

If you go for an appointment please mention GR, I am looking to become a Trainer and it counts towards my credits. Thanks. | |
