| 1)PULAI SPRING (PS) 2)PALM RESORT (PR)
thats the 2 i know of, maybe AUSTIN HILLS but not sure.....
however i would prefer PS cos its near the Skudai area, so if one want to venture out for some shopping/makan/pasar malam, its within close vinicity of several malls, unlike PR......
have not been back to these 2 courses for years, so dun know current conditions but last I know, greens are slow in both courses....
PS has a chinese restaurant Qing Palace, served nice dishes......

| both PS n PR are family-orientated resort clubs, thus will be crowded in the weekend, there are fair share of Sporean n Malaysian within the club...
knowing its long weekend, i doubt there will be rooms but you can always try

| Although I had not officially stay in PR, but I felt PR is pretty good....was told the hotel 's food is good. As for security, it should be someting that should not be of concern..ie good. | |

| I was told that PS is pretty good but have not had any personal experience. I've eaten dinner at the PS chinese restaurant and the food is pretty decent | |

| Stayed in the following before.
1. Pulai Springs - 3-room apartment (high 3-star rating) ; food reasonably good 2. Palm Resort - hotel room (high 3-star rating) ; the chinese zhi-cha at clubhouse is good 3. Kukup - single-storey terrace unit (low 3-star rating) ; decent food, don't expect much After 2 nites, i had backache (mattress and pillow CMI) 4. Legend - single-storey terrace unit (high 3-star rating) & shower area without roof ; food pretty good (we had BBQ there)
For Kukup & Legend, better to be in bigger group if you intend to stay over cos' the units are a distance from the main lobby.

| We went in a big group ; think we had 15 families. Din feel unsafe of course. During our stay, i did not see security guards anywhere near our units.
Personally, i would not stay over with jus' my own family with small kids.

| For families and big group of golfers, Tanjung Puteri is not too bad. They have huge bungalows, 4 and 5 rooms types around the course....
Some more have 3 18's there......

| Try PS, villas and service apartments available. don't expect much service at the service apartments. Food at the korean restaurant and chinese restaurant is slightly above JB average, but the coffeehouse food is really good. the two courses are not very crowded, in decent JB standard... | |
