| Anybody here use real leather grips for their other golf clubs?
The head pro at Sentosa CC uses them on his wedges. I tried one of his leather-grip clubs and the leather feels sticky like fly paper, so you dun have to grip too tightly to control the club.
Sky told me that he has to manually re-wrap the leather clubs grips every few weeks which can be time-consuming.
A bit retro, IMHO but works great for him.

| Got fitted for a Rife putter saturday morning. Had the option of a deer skin, montana cow hide, or snake skin putter grip. The golf studio been selling these grips for years. I believe they are distibuter for grip master here in singapore. About 15 different colours. Highly recommended grip. I also got a 40 gram cabbretta leather grip put on my driver. Available in red, blue, and black. | |

| First - I admit my bias. These leather grips are made by a mate from my club in Melbourne.
They developed a special curing solution that gets stickier as the grip gets wetter. Great grips for woods and irons. They are fitted just like a regular rubber grip because they have a plastic undergrip that the leather is prewrapped on to.
I am trying to find someone reliable with equipment who can fit some to a set that I have in Saigon.

| Hi Sudsoz,
Now that the company has clearer directions and after the US distribution is sorted out, i can see only good things happening for Grip Masters. what was not known previously, is now made easier with proper instructions and technical knowhow imparted by the distributor responsible for the Asian region.
You can contact Nathan from Grip Master Asia to find a fitter in HCM, if they have one.
please PM me if you need help.

| Thanks DGman. My mate will give me the grips once I have a fitter with proper equipment. but Vietnam and Saigon is a golfing backwater. The only guy I have found who does grips there wants US$25 to fit a standard cord rubber grip. I might bring the clubs back to Sing and get you to do it. Where are you situated?
One of Gripmasters problems are that their grips are too good. They last too long and do not generate repeat business for the average club pro.

| Hey Sudz,
Good to see you here, bud.
Have Eric (DG_Man) or one of his staff do the grips for you.
I am a satisfied customer of BFG.
The main shop is near Tanah Merah Central. The other shop is at Orchid CC's driving range (level 1 near the toilets).
