Then I dunno mine is S or R.. lol I think u have it on R if im not wrong. Stole a glance when i was fiddling with yur driver How to see if R or S? It does feel more whippy the the Diaman 60S, but it is stable. After two games at Sembawang CC, I am impressed with the shaft. It is definitely easier to swing and is stable, giving a nice ball flight. Today at Hole 13, Blue Tee, I am able to drive the ball 1 meter short of bunker. That is far for me DG man, I will wish to keep the shaft. Can we work out a package?

Dun think this shaft is going back though.... You got so many holes to put the shaft in meh ? I mean so many heads to shaft into the hole... Aiyah, you got so many drivers to change new shafts?

| had a social game with 2 beginners today. my lower back was sore and i was taking it easy. Mine is a regular flex. dunno the weight haha. but i know its 44.75" and D2 swing weight
airforce hole 2, playing from the whites, I'm normally at the side of the bunkers on the right or jus slightly after.
Today we played 2X airforce cos there was a event.
Both times i was abt 8m pass the point where my ball will normally was after a decent drive
A few times i mishit my ball, still went decent distance. dunno whether is the head or the shaft
Shaft holds the line well and it almost eliminate my fades. ball flight is low to mid, and ball runs
all other GR analysis is correct. This shaft need a smooth swing tempo and when i load it. it reacts back well also and ball still hold the line. Smooth swing will prob gain more distance. because I'm a puncher, so i have to constantly remind myself to swing slower and easier.
i will try for 9 more games and see how tis relationship turns out. Next game will be 10 days later. Lower back a bit sore liao
Hope this helps Thats all folks!!
Oh btw : I'm the 1st secret tester :p

| Okay.....was one of the fortunate souls to take out a Veylix shaft for demo. Among the many specs laid out in front of me, I chose a 68.2 gm with a 252 cpm specimen. Had it cut to 45.25 inches for my Cally Extreme Fit 9.5 driver. So far range testing has been nothing short of satisfactory.....so was very curious to see what kind of distance and performance this exotic beauty would give me. Here goes my initial on course review for this shaft (versus my Tour AD BB) LooksWith a black/white MC grip, the look at address is one of sleek and coolness; amplified by the ion plating of the shaft. Feel really comfortable addressing and setting up for the shot. FeelMy take on this shaft is.....it is a easier-to-load Tour AD BB in disguise. Supremely easy to load on the back swing and on downswing at follow through to impact, supreme stability comes to mind (much like the BB). No feeling of whippiness or boardy type of feel. Just a smooth transition to impact. With this feel, i kinda surmise it is a mid-kick shaft with loads of stability to offer. DistanceOn a familiar course i play weekly, the distance is comparable to my BB combo. Bearing in mind that the shaft has not run in yet. I am of the opinion that it has more to offer.... DispersionLike the BB combo, the end result is tight dispersion and during the process of ball taking flight, visibly low side spin. Seems to suggest that the shaft is a low spinning one just like the BB. LaunchLaunch wise...it is almost similar to the BB; just a tad higher. But I like how the ball takes off! If the BB provides for a blue bullet taking off, then this is a silver bullet rushing out of the barrel eager to find the fairway. None of that ballooning to a peak and dropping dead straight with little roll. SpinNumbers wise....spin rate comparable to the BB. In the range of 2600 - 3200. Just the amount of spin I like to give me the mid trajectory flight i prefer. All in.....a very stable shaft from start to finish in the swing. Like I said.....an easier to launch version of the Tour AD BB. Cool looks aside, the low spin factor should entice golfers to give this beauty a try.....what more at the price offered as compared to other more established brands. For the budget conscious who is looking for a mid-high launch and low spin shaft, this is it. | |
