Tiger's agent hints at legal action against Chamblee

Brandel Chamblee's highly critical article of Tiger Woods may have landed him a lawsuit.


The Golf.com article, where Chamblee writes that Tiger Woods "was a little cavalier with the rules" recently and gives him an "F" grade for the season as a result, prompted Tiger Woods' agent Mark Steinberg to release a statement to ESPN's Bob Harig.

In the statement, Steinberg, who calls the article "atrocious," hints that the World No. 1 may consider legal action against Chamblee. Here's a selection from the piece:

"There's nothing you can call a golfer worse than a cheater,'' Steinberg said. "This is the most deplorable thing I have seen. I'm not one for hyperbole, but this is absolutely disgusting. Calling him a cheater? I'll be shocked, stunned if something is not done about this. Something has to be done.


"There are certainly things that just don't go without response. It's atrocious. I'm not sure if there isn't legal action to be taken. I have to give some thought to legal action.''

seems like chamblee's got something personal against tiger....  a lot of people over here in north america even pointed out the only "F" grades he gave out were to Tiger and Vijay (hmmmmm, see the relation..)

we'll see how it all unfolds!

If you follow BC in the golf channel, he is often critical of TW, right from the beginning as far as I can remember

When I read his article about TW getting a F grade, I know to take it with a huge dose of salt since it is coming from BC. After all he is voicing his opinion, and not the gospel truth.

But it is interesting how this will pan out. I personally feel BC pushed this a tad too far this time. You are on your own now BC!

Maybe he's racist, many Americans are especially those leaving in the south. Racism still exist in america believe it or not. Only some of them do not wanna express it openly.
