A Potent Cocktail !!

Eat Durian then drink Coke = Cobra Poison!

Another tourist died in a foreign land ... a Thai Chinese tourists traveling in Thailand, ate a lot of durian .. then drank a Coke, caffeine intoxication caused by the surge in blood pressure, the results lead to sudden cardiac death, aged 28 years old.
Thailand has clearly defined, after eating a lot of durian, within 8 hours can not drink Coke!
Eat durian .. a lot of friends, saw it forwarded to remind you!
Even if you already know all forward and let everyone know it!

泰國有明確規定，食用大量榴蓮後，8小時之内是不能飲可樂的！

I heard Durian does not go well with alcohol too ... Albeit may not be proven but better be safe than cure ...

First time heard of danger of durians and coke. Normally, u hear of alcohol.

wow, will definitely keep that in mind, though we don't get as much durian here in vancouver as i would like! more of a seasonal thing... how much durian are we talking about though?

I heard b4 of this. I think is due to the "gas" which produce from it that cause harm to our body.

I think it's more potent to those around the durian eater, especially in closely confined locations like small rooms, lifts, under the sheets etc.

And this is the problem with the Internet. It's driven people to become extra careful for fear that what they read on the web has some element of truth. I'm not saying that what you're doing is wrong - I just wonder what we've all become thanks to the "information superhighway."
