Bro, it appears that the T/S concern is not the sole or clubhead face but the top edge of the clubhead being chipped off if it impacts on the wrong part against the ball ... Which is called skymark ... This can be avoided if the angle of attack at impact is positive (ascending impact) ...

You mean clear sticker on the top to protect from sky mark?
