| Yesterday was at pulai...saw a marshal talking & following closely to a flight. It seems, the flight of golfers insist to drive into the fairway even thou the course does not allow.... The marshal finally left after ensuring they follow the rules for a few holes... However, the moment when I saw them again...their buggies are again...in the fairway....marshal has left... It's sad/disappointed to see such behaviors....what is the difficulty, to just follow the rules of the club... | |

| They are probably sick or weak golfers can't walk too much only can hit golf ball! So can't blame them for driving into the fairways! | |

only can hit golf ball! So can't blame them for driving into the fairways! If tats to b, we can understand. But why wld a sick or weak golfer(s) be at the course in the first place? Health cme first, mate. I hve encounter golfers teeing off fm White and drove into the course despite instruction given by counter staff and marshal statg that buggy on track only before start. Nt only they ll damaged any beautiful courses but they ll also send out unneccessary pressure to the poor frt flight that they were either slow play or lousy golfers lor! If you re in a hurry, play 9 holes course ll do. Enjoyed the Sunday, GR.

| Do that in Singapore clubs and I can assure you a warning would be given first. If found to repeat the offence again, the golfers would probably be asked to leave and barred from 1 month to .... months, depending on the severity of the offence and how the golfers react.
In Malaysia, unfortunately, the clubs want revenue and therefore couldn't do anything about it. I still think the club should hold fast to the regulations and not be afraid to impose it. This, I believe will enhance the club's reputation. Therefore serious and law-abiding golfers will likely be attracted to it.
I wish clubs implement the buggy on track rules, like Horizon Hills and some other clubs, or even allow walking with caddies carrying the bags, like JGC.

| I'm guilty to do it once on starhill, JB, for the last hole...after that no more, can't imagine if everyone does it, it will damaged the fairway...so I stop doing that.. | |

| bro albus, very good. bro Duval - i hate ppl who takes fotos of everything nowadays too. I tik we have lost it. Ppl enjoy taking pics of fights, quarrels, anti-social behaviour and whatever instead of helping or defusing a tense situation. Sad. | |

| I heard Palm Resort might implement turf mate for Allamandar course. Currently for Allamandar course, it is strictly buggy on track ... How I wish they implement Allamandar as a walking course with caddies as option ... In Starhill Bintan course, it is a walking course with caddy ... I love walking course with caddy ...I can feel like a touring PRO even though I dun play like one ... | |

If you don't wanna play in OCC, there are plenty who wanna play there ...
Bro, if you look at the among of divots not being repaired in the fairway, you will understand why actions have to be taken. Anyway, the ban is more a suspension. I have a friend who got banned for 3 months too for that. Every weekend, we see golfers, interestly members and non members, doing excavation on the course and just walk away with bothering to fill up the meteoric holes that they have created. A couple of times, we had to tell them to go back and repair the divots. At the end of the day, we just want to have an enjoyable time on the course. Many times, you have a good drive just to find that the ball ends up in a divot....

| Sometimes it is not the golfers.. I notice a lot of maintenance staff drive the buggy everywhere.. Through roughs , soggy grounds, up the slopes to the tee boxes.. They are the ones who are causing more damage to the course rather then maintaining it.
I have personally scolded some when they try to dry up tee boxes and buggy skidded along the slopes.
