New guy hopeful to learn golf!!

This is a cool forum!

I started swinging the clubs quite awhile ago, but just couldn't find kakis to move on. Went for lessons twice; first time, both kakis dropped out halfway, instructor becomes reluctant to teach. Second time, managed to complete the lessons and got my PC, but had since expired because kakis all started to be lethargic and didn't play much.

Know quite a few people who play golf but I only went on the green twice; paiseh to play with people so much better than me.

Thus hope to know more amateurs like myself, get together and start improving!

Welcome here. There is a weekly session at MBGCC with members here so do join them, get to know great ppl and make new friends. It will definitely make ur learning process of this wonderful game alot more fun.

Erm, MBGCC is marina bay rite? Only been there once...anyone kind enough to give directions?

it is off fort road. Turn into tanjong rhu and go right till the end turning left whenever possible(not into the condos). Follow the signboard.

Oops, so that is not the one I know...

Been to a range at marina bay where all the kite-flyers (literally) and bbq steamboat are. That is not MBGCC, I guess?? Haha... ;P

Hi crystal, thanks for the encouragement! Do you practise at OCC often? I used to take lessons there...but its too far for me to practise there often... ;(

ohhh.. u are just like me.. hahahahaaa

although i go to range almost every day, but i only hit balls for abt 2 days per week.
the rest of the days i walk here walk there to talk to the pros and the gals in the golf academy while sunny was practicing...

I want!! Was looking at that already...but saw that need to clock 10 minimum posts before can buy right? If I am eligible I want it too! What are the colours left?

Actually I got to know this forum through someone in big fish...got the car decal too!

But one thing about the decal which I cant find any info on the forum; for my decal, the arch on top ends at the red flag. I see the logo here and on the cap, the arch ends at the 'i' of republic! So is my decal correct?? Hehe...somemore its quite hard to stick it, because the letters will sway from side to side... ;P
