| Go to Samuel @ MBGC romaro fitting centre. Very honest guy, great service (takes pride in his work) and decent prices too. | |

| I'm guessing GP MCC means Golf Pride Multi-Compound Grips (half cord half rubber). They're good for ppl with sweaty palms or play on in the rain (all weather grips) and the clubs get abit wet. Still maintains hold pretty well.. You'll see many ppl using it. It's the half black/white or white/red or white/green or whatever double colored grip. I think it's abt $19 each at Sam's. ask nicely and you might get a discount (: | |

| after changing the grips, make sure they are aligned properly. ie, if the brand is on top, make sure it is align properly to the clubface. if u are not bothered by the align then is fine.
I have bad encounter when i change my grips.. when the brand is facing the sky, some clubs have open face and some closed face... i'm just not good enough to ignore the misalignment, end up got to go back again to collect my clubs

Just re-grip my clubs today and felt they may be undersize. Hope your recommended fitter can provide friendly advise on the re-grip process unlike my experience today from a highly "commendable" fitter in this forum. I left the place feeling the same as I walked in..."Did I get the right grip? Anything else amiss?" I was looking for guidance and advise but all I gotten were stares (from their regulars as well). That establishment is for regulars and Pros, certainly not for clueless newbies. Hope to get a better deal tomorrow.

I am taking your cue to try them tomorrow. Today's fitter was a highly regarded frequently commended place, I went with high expectation but left utterly disappointed. IMOH they are over-rated here in GR.

Think per grip was ard $22-24? shifu.... ur memory is really failing u big time liao... U r rite on e Masda grip... but it's $20 per piece lah... They have a variety of colors to choose from... best part is the feel and confidence from e grip is simply amazing...!!! Btw fitter Benz did an amazing job of getting e exact grip size tat is truly customed to my requirements!!! I personally do not like the tapered end on normal grip and a slightly thicker grip for e tiny palm of mine... kudos to benz as he's able to get e grip size to my preference...! hope e info helps... As for e grip feel and performance.. try to believe

Bro, Torque golf in Laguna? With the closing of Laguna's range, I believe Torque would have relocated. Anyone any clue? Better to give a call before making the trip there. There is a little corner shop, Octane Golf, at Bukit Timah Plaza 2nd level, operated by a Mr. Ong. Very nice fellow and his passion took him all the way to States to pick up the art of fitting. Very modest setup but expect friendly, humble and honest service. Try calling him and share with him what you want exactly and I believe he is able to help you. Google has his contact details. Nothing in it for me, just feedback and recommendation from a very impressed and satisfied customer.
