Due to budget and skill constrain, and from the advice from many here, I may only start with the most basic of clubs... not sure if it's doable???

Phatish set of Cobra irons are beginner friendly, and at $180, is really good value if you are just starting out

Match that up with any older model 24deg to 26deg hybrid (can be found for less than $50), borrow a putter (or go cash converters) and you are good to go

Iron set... Today, i used a old demo club, Callaway X18 graphite regular flex, seems to be very forgiving...
any callaway user can further advice me where to get a similar used iron set?

Warm welcomes from Vancouver!  I'm actually using the Callaway X18's right now and although their pretty old now, they still get the job done!  Pretty forgiving with a bit of workability in it (more so than the Big Berthas during that time period)
