Hey everyone,

The British Open is just a little over a week away and we've posted a hole by hole video guide/preview on our blog. Looks like a tough course, especially when the wind starts to blow.

Any players you're rooting for? Jason Day is the only player this year to finish in the top 10 in both majors this year, so we're hoping he can break through like Adam Scott and Justin Rose this year and get that first Major Championship win!!!

TW has an advantage in this course as he has been competing in this course ever since he was a very young professional ... He is the clear favourite again to take home this major in a week time ... Hopefully lady luck is on his side this time round ... Nike Golf

Hope TW plays well too! Jason Day seems to also be near the top of the leaderboards at Majors, so hopefully he'll break through soon like Adam Scott and Justin Rose!

I am gunning for Phil Mickelson!

Yes I know hardly anyone won the Open if they won the previous week's Scottish Open

But I think PM is very motivated and enjoyed the challenge of playing links style

He has the shots to execute from his arsenal of shots

Hope Left will prevail.

If not, then I hope Paul Casey will give it a good run, his game is coming back recently

I also like Brendan Grace

Heard TW will be using the new covert, the bonded version. If Luke Donald win, it's definitely a great year for British sportmen. Andy Murray, just won the wimbledon.

Was reading abt the open, and it seems that the US media eg Morning Show is making a hoo-hah about the Male-only member for Murfield....

Well first of all, I don agree with that policy...coz I got thrashed by female before, my household is managed by a female....etc.

But I do find it peculiar abt the US media....especially when Augusta was for the longest time a male only club....till recently...

not forgetting there's also a Mark O'Meara and Tim Lehman both above 50s in age yet they come back with a score of -4 and -3 respectively. Then there's also a huge crowd of people including TW and Phil @ -2. Sadly Rory and Luke Donald come back with +8 and +9, they really need to wake up to make cut. Lastly there's Shiv Kapur @ -3 for asia best performer.

I think the bunkers and rough are just deadly. Those who scored well tended to stay out of the bunkers and the long grass. I guess this course rewards the cautious and those who know when to attack. The ones who just charge ahead blindly are likely to suffer.

Also, the green appeared to be like ice. No grip whatsoever. Getting the ball close seemed more likely if the approach shot got the ball to land some 15-20 feet before the pin and have it run up to the hole.

But one thing I don get it.....why do these so call top players...complain that course is not fair.....everybody plays the same course......just like life mah.....
