Any interest? PC holder needs to get more scorecards (and get my scores down!). I'll be playing 9H every Monday afternoon for the next several weeks if anyone wants to join me.

@ECH - i hv never played MBGC. How much for the 9hole? Tq

And FWIW to hedge the weather I dont usually book in advance on Monday or Tuesday afternoons for 9H and never have not had a slot available to play.

Shot a 52 last week, while my playing partner for the day shot a 42. My goal Monday is 50 or below .

What is course's total par? How far is longest hole?

No i mean front or back 9......also MBGC killer is not the distance. it's the bunkers

It was the front 9. Par 36. Longest hole is 519 yards.

5 bogeys. 4 worse-than-bogeys . Five 2 putts. Four 3 putts.

Tee shot from the 1st hole went straight into a bunker . Will use a different club next time and play for bogey on that hole.

Updating for 6 May. Will be there once again today if the rain holds off.

Updating for 13 May. Will be there if the rain holds off. Might do Tuesday as well or instead of... again weather related.

50 has been hard so the focus is on a comfortable 53 to meet the CR requirements.

Updating for Monday 3 June. Been sneeking in 9H mornings where I can these past two weeks and this morning shot a 49... breaking 50 for the first time!

Now I'm back on the Monday afternoon 9H practice schedule at MBGC if anyome wants to join. My June goal is to keep it in the 40s and keep better stats.

Monday and Tuesday are maintenance days at MBGC so the 9 hole slots are only offerred from 4:30-5:01pm (total 8 slots).

That and I don't finish work until 4pm .

Congrats! Way to go! Baby steps improvements. That's what we should look for. I find that the most improvement can be achieved in putting...work on avoiding 3 putts!

Two 3 putts, four 2 putts, three 1 putts today. What hurt was two penalties... four strokes I'd rather not use up next time! Hole 13 continues to be my nemesis, and at Hole 18 I opted for a stroke-and-distance penalty after a wild tee shot ended up somewhere on Hole 10.

Initially, most of my shots at hole 13 ended up short. I have come to realise that because of intimidation of hitting over water, I unconciously slow down my swing. Now, I confidently hit with a longer club than I would normally use on the fairway. Wonder if you encounter the same?

I am keen to do 9 hole noon on monday.
ok to tee off near to 5pm?
i did my handicap on the monday.
Happy to hit 1st time ever a GIR on hole 18 and managed a par for the hole.
Hole 13 still one of the most interesting par 3 hole, i hit over the green into water.
Drop zone chip n 1 putt to save the hole with a boggy.

Beside putting, please work on your pitching which will also helps u a lot in lowering scores.
