| Hey everyone,
The reason why I posted this topic is because I wanted to know if there is any difference between both spec's?
TaylorMade Rocketbladez iron c taper KBS shaft for Asian market has a "yellow colored cap on the grip" and US spec?
I mean is there a difference between both? Os is this just a marketing ploy?
Has anyone tried both?

| are you asking about Rocketbladez Asian vs US spec? or C Taper Asian vs US spec?
Rocketbladez: - Asian spec: C Taper 90, Made for TM, not available commercially (afaik) - US spec: stock rocketfuel steel or whatever they call it
KBS C Taper - only 1 spec, whatever you see on the KBS website, i believe its a 120g version
hope it helps! | |

| The original C Taper from KBS plays from 110 to 130gm in 5 different flexes. This is the one we call the US spec one.
This year with the rocketbladez irons, Taylormade actually have 2 custom C Tapers for the Japan and Asian markets. These are are presently not available for purchase unless you buy the rocketbladez irons. The Japanese version is a lighter 90gm version and the Asian one is a 95gm version. I suppose the average Japanese golfer prefers a lighter shaft.
I played both shafts, albeit in different heads. They both perform exceptionally and provide a stable feel on impact. Given the choice I will prefer the 90gm version because it was just so easy to use.
Compared to the US spec ed one, which I tried in S+, you will need to really swing. A very stable and good shaft also.
Hope this helps. | |

| the C Taper 90 is only available in the Rocketbladez, as it is Made for TM, and NOT available commercially, so you couldn't buy it without buying the Rocketbladez....

| no worries! not sure tbh, i think its about SGD900+ at FESC, any other bros can confirm?
the global spec version is being sold in Golf Direct for SGD829, so i think the Asian spec should be pricier... | |
