| These days, callaway golf is a very different animal. Seems like they have taken lessons the services of the marketing team from Taylormade
They are unabashed about trumpeting their new products, and also give focus on good designs after all, who wanna buy fugly clubs (for me, Ping G25 is a step back in design)
According to the recent callaway golf challenge at sicc, they claimed that callaway sales in 2013 has surpassed expectations... So you need to have a good, well designed product that performs, more importantly, the consumers NEED to know!

| Golf product is also like woman, must be beautiful, shapely in design, whether can go or not it's another thing, appeal, love at first sight! Tempting name and branding!
Product will sure sell like hot cake just like TM every 3-6 months new driver launch in the market place, than golfer will abandon their old to get the NEW!
Smart marketing strategy!

| conversion on tour is at its highest. at the Chiang Mai event 2 weeks ago. the tour rep was out of Xhot FW and i had tour players coming to ask if they can pay and order through me. also from the golfer's perspective. the shafts speaks for itself in terms of custom fitting for the XHots Driver, FW and Hyrbids.. IMHO its not marketing alone but a good product is still holds the key to conversion. DGman | |

While I agree 100% to that, but in the case of PM, I think this guy should rather fix his swing to hit his driver consistently instead of asking Callaway to make an equipment just for him. IMO his antics experiment has come to a ridiculous stage. 2 drivers and tons of wedges, anyone?

| I've a question to ask. Is the xHot FW we get in SG the same FW "Spoon" that they have in Japan (the one that they're marketing as '300 yard Spoon'?)?
