| HI all Ist post here, do u guys know whats the diffent between the MP 52 and MP58? I try it @ GH but feel almost the same. When i try on the standard lie iron (6 iron), the ball mark is about a 20 cents coin in the middle of the clubface. So do i need to custom fit or just buy over the rack. Thanks all bro. | |

| if your swing is consistent enough (which i reckon it is as you're even considering these two models) i think you should consider getting fit. they fit you more than just the lie angles but the shaft too. but if you really would like to use a mizuno, then you could always get retro fitted and bring those clubs in for a fitting.
and between the 52s and 58s they merely differ in terms of their forgiveness. the 52s have a cavity back and the 58s don't! both look sibeh badass though.. haha

| Hi WaterWoo. The 58s are newer so (supposedly) have improved technology for greater accuracy, forgiveness yada yada yada. The 52s are about a year old but still awesome clubs nonetheless. If they both feel about the same, go for price then. GH will have a sale coming up so expect to see the 52s, MX-200s etc drop in $$ PS. Welcome to GR | |

| I was told that it should be in Nov/Dec. Nothing's confirmed but that's what a GH employee told me. | |

| I am keen on testing the MP58 and MX700 series.
Does knows what the mizuno demo schedule? I missed the ones in MBGC not too long ago.

| You should try more shots and see if all the marks end up at the same place. To check for your appropriate lie, look at the scratch marks on the sole of the club. Some tape will help. In terms of MP52 vs MP58, I guess it's the look at setup. It is very much up to the individual. Both are soft feel so nothing much to compare about. On a side note, I might be wrong but I think the shaft offered on MP58 are different from those of MP52. I'm not too sure. The most important component is the shaft so get the one that suits you and your swing. Custom fitting is the best way to make sure the clubs suit you and not the other way round. Check your current set first before making your purchase and speak to a qualified club fitter. Cheers - WaterWoo wrote:

| Seeing this, I've realized that I'm not up to the MP series. The MX-200 should work best for me.
... but I'm not buying!!

| had a rare chance to try a MP52 from a fellow golfer at a range, and surprisingly, it pretty easy to hit for me! The 7i was fitted with NSP950R swinging it felt good. In fact, I feel that I was able to swing it faster and with more confidence than my own graphite irons. Only had 1 slice out of 30 balls that I used it with, and distance was almost the same (i can almost swear it is slightly further) as my graphite, but I keep thking that its not possible, as with steel, I should be losing distance.
I mean it really felt very good, even my wife who was there to watch said that she had never seen me play that well at the range before! (Good reason to buy the set then!)
Am I dreaming and just imagining things? How can I b swinging the steel shafts faster, and hitting to almost the same distance as my grphite?? Is it possible?

| In the end mizuno have to come out with a few new model to stay competitive with the rest. So be it MP 52, MP 58, MP 62 or Mp 68, it just to add up to their arsenal. | |

| Sorry, I didn't mean that. I read somewhere that MP58 comes with KBS Tour shafts as an option. Kana Bird Sh*t :p was never an option at Mizuno so it's a first. I think KBS shafts are excellent shafts so you could give them a try too. I've seen MP52 come with NSPro, Dy Gold and Project X. There may be other options available as well. You might need to check with Golf House. - WaterWoo wrote:
