Golfers must also learn how to climb trees Very Happy

I think he was crazy to have taken that jump down in that fashion. He's not as young as he used to be and for golfers, having complete control of your feet, ankles, knees etc is vital. Silly to put all of that at risk.

He withdrew?

Yes, he withdrew after the course was closed due to stormy weather. I think he hurt his shoulder, or something like that due to the stunt. Come to think of it, it's quite silly because he got a double bogey for that hole.

No wonder they said u need to be fit to play golf. No sure when u need to climb a tree.... clown

I think he hurt himself from jumping down from the tree after the shot. Not worth the trouble huh. No purse at all.

Perhaps he should declared unplayable then take one strokes penalty....

If he keeps taking jumps off such heights, he'll be unplayable himself soon.

Huh?

I think he hurt his shoulders trying to hoist himself up with the 2 arms. Jumping down would jurt his legs & feet, not shoulder.

Regardless, he should have used his head to think rather than his nuts. He could have been badly injured just to save a stroke. Take the unplayable and carry on. As it stands, he's already caused himself some discomfort (how much, we don't know). He let the crowd's cheer get the better of him. Silly... very silly.

probably more for publicity than anything else..still quite entertaining to watch though.. bounce

he is amazing, he hit the shot out of the tree?? i have never see a shot like this in my lifetime. what a shot!!!

Sometimes as social golfers we do get lucky and get away with it. I remember in 1996 when I was a Pulai Springs member my wayward ball landed on the neatly cut palm tree branch to the right of the green at about eye level. It was sitting nicely for a quite a clear shot. I believe in making the shot and used a 9i to hit it. God, the shot was so clean I couldn't believe it landed on the fringe of the green. I got away with a bogey and couldn't feel more happy. Sometimes we do get lucky. Very Happy
