| It's true that Daiman 18 have tight courses... I remembered that I have to bring "extra" more balls only when i'm play there. My handicap was maintained by the club back then (2005) when i started playing.. It's been a while since I was there though. Nice pictures.. kinda brought back good memories! | |

| I always wonder if the name Daiman is taken from Mandai.. During my early golfing stage, i practise at Mandai EC then to Daiman for 18hole. When I got to know of Daiman, I was thinking why the hell I waste money at Mandai. The fees almost the same!! Beginner pace is fine as well!! Somemore I can practise driving buggy than carrying my 4 piece club walking. So the Pekin restaurant is still there? | |

How to find this in Singapore?
This hole was a memorable one for me. My shot landed in the small canal in this picture. Took a shot from the drop zone and managed to hole out for a par. titu

As a beginner, my heart is always thumping hard when approaching this teebox. This is the hole where great satisfaction came when i managed to land my teeshot on the fairway! Very fun!!

| Tigawood's photos taken of Diaman 18 was tasteful! It makes the course look difficult n challenging! Urging you to go and try again! Both AM/PM on weekends at same price rm110 still correct? | |

| However, few ppl that i knew shared that Daiman 18 was once a hot spot for robbery. It happened on few golfers who arrived in the early morning dawn, who hoped to catch the 1st flight out. The moment they step out of their car unloading bags, they were ambushed with parang (robbed, car was driven off, left the golfer stunned and stranded).
Anyway, for those who games there often, perhaps just be extra alert. Having said so, it may not just be Daiman18, it could have happened to other out-skirt courses which is equally nice+cheap... Orchard etc.

| Mmmmm... heard a similar story - but that was outside Pulai Springs.... parang robbery also on a early morning flight... Just has to be careful and not be too "flashy" on your expensive watches or jewelery..... keep them at home ... Anyway, played at Daiman long time ago when I first start golf.. remember there was a shop at the club house there that sell a lot of used golf balls at very reasonable price. Wonder if it is still there? - Underdog wrote:

| I do have fond memories of Daiman 18. It is indeed quite a tight course so much so that we thought of bring helmet onto the course because balls were flying into our fairway lots of time. | |

| Playing on cow grass not so fun. Rather play at Legends or Palm Villa.
Went there 3 years ago and never went back. Toilet is like showering in construction site. In the end I gave up showering. I hope they have renovated since.
Field condition is like Octville/Christine - cow grass. not so enjoyable.

| I last played there in 1996. Back then we were quite hardup and since it's quite cheap to play there compared to the other courses, we tried it. It was a pretty dangerous course then. Some holes you are driving against golfers teeing off in the opposite direction. Not sure if that had changed. | |

| Tight but short course... Theres a par 3 need to go over a big tree , and have to aim between trees for the last hole. Not much ppl is a plus point. Saw a single ball flight playing with 3 balls. | |
