Golf stuffs in jap

Hi... going to jap osaka and tokyo next mth. Thinking of getting golf accessories for myself But don know whar to buy??? Any recomend??? Previous trip bought one piece chopper head cover.... marker??? Belt?? Or any other japan limited edition stuff..of course Don expect to buy a set of golf club....too big and heavy.lol....

In Osaka, there are quite a few golf shops at the basement level of Umeda area, opposite Osaka Station. It's an office tower next to Hilton Osaka.

Most stuffs in Japan are 'limited' for the Japan market only from balls to golf accessories. Of course you could get them online from Japan but you won't find them anywhere else.

I remember BIC Camera (top floor) near the underground station and Akiba Store in Akihibara as selling golf stuff.

Woo!!! Thanks a lots!!! This is my 2nd time go tokyo and osaka. Can go there see see look look..For ball wise i think i might get over load for my baggage check in... lol.

In Tokyo you can go to Ueno Station and right out of the station is the Ameyoko market.

A fellow GRian recommended and they do indeed have quite a number of golf shops selling anything and everything you need, club heads, shafts, balls, Tees, training aids. You name it, they have it. Also love how they had free golf club catalogues from almost every MFR possible. What a waste it was all in Japanese and I wonder why Singapore shops do not have!

I just went over the CNY period.... there were a lot of sales going on for apparel but they were only clearing Winter apparel.. Sad

Yeah if you get the chance, try jypers near shinbashi station.

About a 10 min walk.

Japan's equivalent of golf direct.

Across the road at the same junction there's another golf shop. Loads of stuff.

Search jypers online for the address.

Confirm you won't be disappointed.

Higher end apparel you'll need to go to the department stores at Takashimaya. If you're a lady, confirm spoilt for choice.

The spot in ueno is at the jr station between ueno and akihabara. Cant remember what the stations called. Many shops with many floors full of golf gear.

And the yen is getting hammered. Enjoy!

Not really, i think is abt the same. Last year i went there, i bought a phiten necklace at 11000yen. That time my exchange rate SGD$1 = ¥65. Convert to sgp is ard 169. I came back sgp and saw it selling 175. Exactly the same model. Unless u order in bulk qty lo.

Another little bit of info..

I remember SQ gives a 50% discount on golf bag weight.

Helps me "persuade" my wife that going to the golf shops abroad is for her shopping.

Although... they do tend to chuck golf bags around at the airport. I beleive i damaged some iron shafts after a trip to taiwan.

So maybe need some extra shopping to wrap the shafts up.
