| I've only tried a few - Callaway X forged, Cobra S2 forged, Adams CB3, Yamaha Inpres X
Yamaha wins hands down. No comparison.

| This is a v subjective topic... I would venture to say that any iron - forged or cast (blade or CB or MB) as long as you hit the sweet sweet spot (i mean right spot on) the feel would be super buttery soft! | |

| fully agree that if you can strike the sweet spot, that club is going to feel really nice.
However, while there are some cast clubs that feel soft if struck well, there are also cast iron sets that do not feel soft at all even when struck on the sweet spot, even if they are graphite shafted. But even for these clubs, there is still a clear difference between striking it on the sweet spot and not.
My first set is a good example, TM XR-08. Before I sold it off, took it out and hit a few balls with each club to make sure everything was still ok, and they were noticeably harder than my own set as well as other forged irons.
That being said, in terms of performance, i.e. sending the ball where you want it to go, the XR-08 still does the job well (after adjusting a bit for the greater offset) and I would happily play a game with them if I did not have my other sets with me.
Personally, I get a better feeling seeing my ball fly toward the green (low, high, roll, etc does not matter) and stopping near the flag, over striking the ball solidly in the sweet spot and in the correct direction then watching it curve uncontrollably to the left and landing 25m away from the pin.

| Mizuno MP33
When your swing is on, best feeling in the world...doesn't even feel like you struck something with your club. When your swing is off, feel like just hit a rock and your hands will vibrate.
