Q: Club Holder Pat.P

hi.

someone just bought me mizuno MP golf bag. there's a strap just below the rim of the bag ( see photo) that says " Club Holder". what is the function of the strap?? thanks

is it super long? maybe to wrap around the clubs when you are not using the rain hood so that the club will not fall off easily? just a guess...

I think the club holder is used to hold the club which you can slot into one of the grooves in the side of the bag?
