not start from zero lah. those more than 50 posts can carry on as per normal.

Those less than 50 eg....40 posts, start counting from 40 lah. Once hit 50, can post in Marketplace n everything else.

The rules are decided by the management team. You come in as a 'guest' in the form of member. If you are not happy with the rules, you can always leave or not partake in the discussions here.

No one forcing you to stay if you do not like it here. Period.

do read other popular golf forums marketplace rules, these are mainly based in USA, a country which hold freedom and liberty sacred e.g.

what do you think? GR more restrictive, about par with others, less restrictive?

Note: some rules are supported by software that GR doesn't use..so there are some limitations.

i actually VOTED for 100 posts before entry to marketplace...

Maybe 100 posts for WTS and 20 posts for WTB ... Separate these 2 topics into 2 threads would be ideal ...

hi bro devil_wq, not here to pick up an argument with you but i diff from you comments on being a Singaporean. We should in fact be proud of our track record.
Compared to many countries out there, our country leaders are doing much much better. Being a small nation with no natural resources, our people are able to live in a safe environment & life free from hunger, what more can we ask for?
I have been to some countries (which are developed countries) around us and the people there envy our nation and how fortunate we Singaporeans are!!
Its true our leaders made mistake but they are human like us. Its like golf, not everyday is a beautiful day and when things fail, we work hard to ensure we make it better the next round.....
just to share my opinion and lets enjoy golf more, my friend...

I just pray hard that this is not the attitude that my country takes towards me and those who do not agree on certain issues. People with a real sense of belonging hopes and tries to make a place better, not just pack up and go.

danielleecm - No arguments at all. In fact, i very much agree with you that we are doing very well. And being where I am working now for a number of years, I fully appreciate that. But there are things that others do better as well. I am a proud Singaporean and enjoys golf too! Cheers!

coming back to issue at hand....

there is a reason why GR requires min post in order to access the marketplace...

we dun want to turn this into another ebay spore....

may or may not work... i dun know

but so far so good...

let's not make this as a chances to pick on each other here, let us enjoy the free service here and since there no joining fee so we shuld just follow rules that are set here. anyway marketplace is like a bonus in this forum since it a place to let us meet more golfers not selling items here. just my 2cents worth.

I think the rule is good...else become like ebay like slinger said.
