| Errr there r 3 cipher models now...Cipher, Cipher 2 n Cipher 2S...I hav a pair of the original cipher...great shoes - super light n comfy. Got 1 problem though, the replaceable spikes do come off along the edges..I suggest getting the Cipher 2 or 2S.
If u want to get it locally, it's only available in white n black at CEDS. EBay has quite a few of the original cipher on auction. I m gonna get the Cipher 2 from tgw next month when it's in stock. Welcome to join me if u r interested.
Happy shopping. | |

| Ah... Thanks!
Where's ceds?
I've got strange ankles from an old op, so I'd need to go try them out for size before I can join your online order bro.

Actually both CEDs have stock...just saw last wkend...yeah I go bonkers for Oakley.... The 2 CEDS are at Vivo City & inside Taka dept store. If I m not wrong, most asians will find that they need the wide size. Usually for normal shoes, I need a 9 but for the Ciphers I need a 9.5 wide. Happy shopping...

Haha I think that is an exaggeration....bcos the spikes are attached using velcro so it may come off.. I played 3 rounds in my ciphers without any problems. no spikes came off. but 1 thing to note though (n I think Oakley knows this as well), the shapes of the spikes on the original cipher is not well thought thru...the edges do come off (although the rest of the spikes stays firmly velcro). tats y the cipher 2 has redesigned spikes shapes.

The following is a feedback from one of the customers (taken from Golfsmith website) on Men's Ciphur Golf Shoes - Quote: "Posted: July 3, 2012 Customer avatar: Bwhite357 From San Antonio, TX, USA Skill Level: Intermediate Gender: Male Where Do You Golf: Other public You Play Golf: Multiple times per weekThis is one of the lightest, and most comfortable shoe that I have ever put on my feet. I like not traditional spikes under my feet, however, I am concerned about the "nanospikes." After having worn mine for only two times, the nanospikes began coming off and after the third round three of the spike areas were bare. After searching the Oakley site for the replacement kit, only to find out the kit is $20, I have decided the "nanospikes' are too tedious if I will have to replace them after every three rounds. Great idea, but the technology needs to be improved. Pros: Features Cons: Quality, Poor Design, Durability" Unquote

| Yup I saw this review before I bought my cipher shoes. Well so far, I can safely say the spikes are still holding... But best bet is to get the Cipher 2 shoes. Or if you can afford it, get the Tour Carbon Pro.... | |

| When I saw the photos of the Cipher 2 and the Carbon Tour Pro model....I went bonkers...even my wife says so! Haha.... too bad they are not in SG yet....CEDS will take donkey years to bring them in.
Last yr I waited for CEDS to bring in the original Cipher but it only happened in the July or so and even then only in the white/black color....pathetic so I decided to get it online in my fav blue at 1/2 the price tat CEDS is selling....

Well they're are very unique.
Thanks for your views on the spikes. Must admit was kinda skeptical with the new technology.
Nothing like genuine product reviews!

| Yeah the cipher r great shoes...aft u put them on, the first u'll notice is the weight or I should say the lack of weight on yr feet...In my first game wearing these shoes, I felt as if I can walk the entire 18 holes with ease.
Just for reference, the new Adidas shoes - Adizero Tour is about 10.6 ounces (300g). The Cipher 2 is only at 9.2 ounces (260g). Best of all, the Cipher comes in 5 colors!
Haha, paiseh I sound like I m selling Oakley shoes. I just like the shoes too much la....
