Woohoooooooooo! My uncle gave me his 2nd hand clubs yst and it looks pretty nice! the irons are Taylormade 320, driver is Taylormade R7, with a Calaway 3 wood and hybrid, Titus putter. Can't wait to try them out!

Back to the topic lolxx. I really need to change the grips as it is slightly coming apart, any idea if world of golf or the PING shop at Punggol range does this? And what kinda grips r recommended?

Thanks in advance!

golfpride seems to be a popular choice, read mostly good reviews.

I heard some places sell fake grips! Some say see color, some say feel the rubber..original is softer.. how to tell?
Some places sell multi compound for $18 some places $10.

MC cost price much higher than $10...to be real, they must be stolen......555

its easy to tell the fakes from china. the cord looks and feels different, less traction and when you press the butt end, the fake is soft while the real thing is hard. the fake is a one piece construction while the real mccoy is a 2 piece construction.

golf pride rubber composition is the best kept secret and nobody has yet to produce a grip that's the same.

GP rubber grips are made in Thailand while the cords (including MC) are made in Taiwan.

hope it helps.......DGman

I perfectly ok with it, good thing abt the Pure, it does not required alcohol to put in hence no need to wait for it to dry and try, wanna play around with grip much easier, now got 2 on game with it today, i thought quite alright something like tour velvet with the iomic sticky feel, lastly much cheaper. don't like multi compund, thought it's a bit rough.

My palm is big and I find that my mizuno JPX 800 US spec clubs, the grip I find it a bit small. How do I determine whether the stock grip size is suitable for me?

Go to a fitter and they should be able to advice you properly.
