Beginner Golf Lesson

I had recently signed up for a beginner lesson with Daniel Ng from GolfCoach. I will be join a group of 4 starting this Thurs evening, 17 Jan, 8pm at Nature Park Golf Driving Range (Sin Ming Ave).

Trying to see if I can link up the other 3 participants here.

the weird thing here is that, althought it is a good forum for newbies to check things out, but my experience, it is quite difficult to form a group here as there are not too many newbies looking for lessons. (I did the same thing 2 years back )

you will have better luck if your pro can help link you up. waiting here and matching up is quite a challenge.

the weird thing here is that, althought it is a good forum for newbies to check things out, but my experience, it is quite difficult to form a group here as there are not too many newbies looking for lessons. (I did the same thing 2 years back )

you will have better luck if your pro can help link you up. waiting here and matching up is quite a challenge.

i am interested to join. it will be good like what huhsimi said, to have more information.

However it seems abit rush to have the course starting this thursday. haha.

Really a noobie here....have not even got my own equipment yet.

Depending on your preferred venue lor. I went for Sin Ming range becoz I live nearby. You can check out GolfCoach - Daniel. I'll let u know if he's good after my first lesson on Thurs.

I stay at Cantonment and I heard Marina South has one golf range also.

Marina south range, closed long ago.....the next one is mbgc at the end of tanjong rhu.

I just got my pc (nov) from Daniel Ng too which was conducted at sin Meng range. Signed up the lesson at SPGG $210 (members) $230 (non-members).

Location n coach is very important as u need to practice btw ur lessons. I personally find that the condition at sin Meng not very conducive as the range is Abit run down, ball expensive n dispenser usually faulty. Nsrcc n mBgc IMHO offers better.

I also stay cantonment so if free, maybe we can hit the range together. Those staying in the central can consider keppel n MBGC.

Yeah Sin Ming is rather run down I must say but for convenience sake, I'm doing my lessons there. Probably won't practise there. Don't mind going to MBGC since quite near work place.

- Relax your grip
- Focus on your ball (contact point)
- Swing using your left hand
- NEVER EVER FOLLOW THE CLUB!!!!!! You Will SURELY miss the shot............

- my grip is too firm. Need to work on that.
- this one ok.
- I can't tell really if I'm using left or both or right hand.

Is there any price listing on e web under MBGC ?
If not I will go down and check the price.

So how many people interested to take at MBGC ?
Saw on the website is $220 per pax for a 4 person class.
Price does not include balls, etc...
