I bought a new model 52* and thereafter delofted it a few months ago. It has lots of spin in it. So much spin that I gave up on it coz I ended up having problem controlling my distance. However, it's a great club if you like the spin. BTW, I am still using the old model 54* and 60*

Also if any kind soul has seen this for sale in SG?Price?
Bought it from GD for $148 per piece. I believe Pan West is selling for $168

588 forged is 2012 model. For 2013, it's 588 RTX. I am gonna get some from 3balls on eBay. Wat worries me is the heavier swing weight....

I have three of the 2012 588 Forged Wedges.... 48/52/56 (my PW is a 44). The 52 and 56 I got from PanWest, but the 48 I had to order from the US.

The Black Satin finish will wear quickly in sand play, as do the grooves. I expect I'll need a new 56 sometime in the middle of this year due to wear.

I love them but as I'm new I don't really have anything to compare them to. I can hit them fairly consistantly @ 90/80/70 yards and the 56 is slowly becoming my choice for pitching inside 70 yards and the 48 my fav for chipping.

I still prefer the 2012 look, since the RTG is out should see the 2012 model getting some price cuts.

Considering between the 588s and Mizzy R12s, for Forged wedges think the price is attractive.
Would luv the Vokey Tour forged but out of my budget.
