| I'm a beginner that just got my PC. Can the pros advise where to buy used balls at cheap prices since I'm expecting to lose plenty of them? Far East Shopping Centre is selling 1 for $0.50 but I was wondering whether there is anywhere else that sell even cheaper? | |

| How many balls would you recommend for a beginner to bring to the green? Is 10 balls enough for say a 9 hole game? | |

| Golf direct sells Lynx balls at 5 boxes (18 balls each box) for $55. It works out to be about 60 cents each which is reasonable IMO, and they are brand new... | |

Depending where you are playing? Full or executive course? Also are you playing with a group of beginners or you got some experience players with you. But always bring more than enough.

I'm very new and I bring 12. If it is any help I lost five balls on the NSRCC Changi Par 3 9 hole course my first time out (shot a 48) and lost three balls today (shot a 39). Plan is to shoot below 36 (bogey or better every hole) and lose no more than 1 ball there before I try to lose balls on a regular course . I use new Bridgestone B330 RXs. Each lost ball is a beer I can't buy at the end of the round .

Cheers. Haha, I thought of that too. But that would be too unethical to do. And I supposed the ball is different? Most range balls look damn worn out.

| Haha. I don't do that but .... Hey when the range announces new range ball then it's the time to go ..... Test the ball on the course. | |

Please do not do such things lah.. if you can afford a game on the course, you can afford 50cents, 2nd hand balls. Don't go and steal range balls.

| True,
Bad to do such things, even brand new balls are quite cheap now, so no point steal those balls.
Driving range bought the balls to run business, give them a chance to survive.

I use new Bridgestone B330 RXs. Each lost ball is a beer I can't buy at the end of the round . Wow, very good scores there. I remember my scores were above 50s for NSRCC exec course when I first started. I'd suggest to bring more balls just in case. Sometimes I won't bother looking for balls when the course is packed and with people chasing behind, so I tend to use up more balls (cheap used balls, that is). Also, I find that I lose momentum when I spend too much time looking for lost balls...
