| Hi GRians,
Are the prices at Creativegolf by Joe any good? Wondering if I should go down and take a look.

They're not bad. I've picked up some good bargains at Joe's place before. As with all things, best to go knowing what you're looking for and how much outside prices are like. That said, the best way to buy is directly from the seller. This way, there's no middleman margin.

Actually before you go down (assuming that you saw something on his website that interests you). give Joe a call to confirm that the item listed on his website is still there. There were a couple of times I went down to check somethings out, only to realize that it was either sold or the seller has taken it back.

Need to bargain a little. I once told him I wanted to sell my burner 1 irons. He offered me $200. I told him too low and I rather not sell. Then he asked me how much I wanted to sell for, I said ard $250 - $300. He said can deal. Ultimately, you need to also know how much your clubs are worth in after-market so that he can earn also.

| Cashing in with Joe will cut your intake quite big to accommodate his margins, only if you're desperate or too lazy to return.
I sold my stuff quite quickly at Joe..all at my price using consignment. but I don't set price high so confirm can sell liao. Most sellers consign at too high a price. You can find nice used ping clubs there.

listed prices not exactly that attractive but can bargain. I found out that it is better to buy off this forum through direct sellers. personal experience.

| when my brother and i first started golf, we went to Joe's to get a set of irons to share. the price wasnt really cheap, $380 for TM R7(5-P), graphite if i rem correctly. but he did offered lotsa advice on what to look out for and recommended serveral other brands.. as mentioned, it is better to call him to check on what you have seen on the website before going down. | |

| Joe's a nice guy. Do support him. Most cases, he'll be slightly more ex but u can scrutinize the club till 101% sure & can also test out. He has overheads. The thing is buying fr forum or online is that u dun really know the condition & when u already commit to buy, paiseh to back out even not up to our expectation.... | |

| Has quite a few dealings with Joe since I am lefty and it is quite difficult to find clubs locally to test/trial. So Joe's is the cheaper option compared to buy new. Find his price reasonable n fair, considering his overhead, can't be as good as direct dealing with buyer/seller of course. Nowadays, for buying, eBay and other online shop can be good alternative too. But when comes to selling, still looking.. | |

| Joe's list price (ie, price listed on the driver) something can be negotiated. No harm asking nicely if he can give you a better price. (dun lowball of course)
On a previous thread on Creativegolf, some GRian did mention that some of the club are shrink wrapped by Joe, but they are not new. They do look new with the shrink wrap and all. So do check with Joe and do not assume it is brand new.
have fun Shopping! | |

| Nice and honest chap - friendly and patient too.
Have known him since his days with Winston when i bought my first set of irons from him and still do drop by occassionally because there are gems in there at good prices if you take your time.
Was very tempted over the weekend with the Orange Special Edition AMP driver... price was very fair too, but managed to avert tempatation - for the moment at least.
His prices are reasonable and like aero says, you've got to leave a bit for someon else to earn lah - everyone needs to make a living, but fair to say that his prices are not stiff, but not lowball either - so pretty fair deals with the occassional find.

| Like tincup, I knew Joe since his days at old Iseten! Always ready with a smile when serving customers. Very decent and honest chap! All my current clubs are from him. Not the cheapest but if you are lucky you can come across good buys. It all depends on the prices that his customers wants to let go too! All he does is mark-up a little for his overheads.. Got some great deals from him along the years.... Didn't buy anything from him for the last few years already but always drop by to chit-chat and look-see look-see, just in case I come across another great deal... By the way, he's a collector of sorts of old nice clubs too and I know that he's still holding on to my very first set of vintage Honma clubs... Joe - I want to buy it back! | |

| I bought my 1st wedge and putter from joe and im still using the wedge till today. sentimental value. He is a very nice guy, I always try to convince myself to get something from Joe even though i already have quite a arsenal of clubs at home. I like to go to his shop even though i have nothing in my mind to buy at his place. Ladies can also visit his shop for some beginners golf set. | |
